Lift project

We have launched a project to provide an accessibility lift in our building.

Moving between church and halls involves using the stairs, and the Parlour can only be reached via stairs.  This represents a significant issue for people with childen and buggies and people with mobility challenges.

Our vision

During 2027 we plan to install a lift linking the ground floor in the halls, the mezzanine level with a corridor to the church, and the upper floor in the halls for the Parlour room.

The toilets need to be relocated to facilite this so the project includes updating the toilets.

We believe this will help us to better serve the wider community and our own congregation.

To achieve that we need to raise, through donations from the congregation and local fundraising, a target £25,000.

The lift project will cost considerably more than this, around £400,000, but will be largely funded by grants from various bodies, To unlock that funding we need to demonstrate our commitment and raise some of the funds locally!

How You Can Help

Please consider prayerfully whether you can help.   You could:-

Sponsor a Part of the Lift Project: We will be offering unique opportunities to sponsor a part of the project, perhaps to celebrate a family milestone.

Make a donation to our Lift Fund  Contributions of any size will bring us closer to our goal.

Community Fundraising: We are looking for enthusiastic individuals or groups to organise events. Whether it's a coffee morning, a sponsored stair-climb, or a community talent auction, or even better your own idea, your creativity can help us reach our target.
