"Let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream"    (Amos 5:24)

We support Fairtrade because we believe we have a part to play in ensuring better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world.

Trinity is a "Fairtrade" church.

Fairtrade is about better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world.

The Fairtrade Foundation seeks to transform trading structures and practices in favour of the poor and disadvantaged. By facilitating trading partnerships based on equity and transparency, Fairtrade contributes to sustainable development for marginalised producers, workers and their communities. Through demonstration of alternatives to conventional trade and other forms of advocacy, the Fairtrade movement empowers citizens to campaign for an international trade system based on justice and fairness.

As a "Fairtrade" church, Trinity always seeks to use Fairtrade products - for example for tea and coffee after the service - and also asks that organisations using its premises adopt the same principles.

Visit the Fairtrade Foundation website for the fascinating story behind this campaign.
