Lift design
Trinity plans to install a lift in the building during 2027. The following design outline is subject to change!

Relocation of the Gentlemen's and Ladies toilets will allow these facilities to be updated, a much needed improvement, but it is planned to relocate and retain the Edwardian basins.
The new doors will match the existing style of the building.
Finally the work will involve replastering and making good.
At the lower level the lift door will be to the right as you enter the side door by the kitchen.
The lift shaft (highlighted in yellow) will occupy some of the space currently used by the Gentlemen's toilets, the remainder being used to provide a small storeroom.
New Gentlemen's toilets will be installed using part of the space currently occupied by the Terrace Store room (highlighted in blue).
The remainder of the Terrace Store room will remain as storage, accessed from the Terrace Room.
At the upper level the lift door will be opposite a new door from the Parlour.
The lift shaft (highlighted in yellow) will occupy some of the space currently used by the Ladies' toilet, the remainder being used to provide a small unisex toilet adjacent to the Parlour.
At the intermediate level the lift door will be between the stairs landing and the corridor to the church.
The lift shaft (highlighted in yellow) will occupy some of the space currently used by the Ladies' toilets on the floor above, the remainder being used to provide a small unisex toilet opposite the corridor to the church.
