Christian Aid Meeting
Tuesday 31 October
7.30 to 9.00pm
at All Saints' Church, Putney Common
In response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Christian Aid has been working though the Alliance for Public Health Ukraine to provide humanitarian aid. APH, with technical support from Christian Aid, has reached more than 90,000 people across 24 Oblasts (regions) in the last year with their holistic approach of providing a range of services to address the complex needs of the affected communities.
Dr Vyacheslav Kushakov, a founding member and Senior Adviser of the Alliance, will be in London on 31 October and has asked to meet Christian Aid supporters to share news of this work. He will answer questions from the audience in a Question Time format.
If you would like to go to the meeting, please let David Jones (email dej7ld@gmail.com or phone 07594 288271) know as soon as possible. It is not a particularly easy journey by public transport, but a limited number of lifts will be available. Also please let David know if you will take a car and can offer lifts. We need to advise approximate numbers to the host church.
If you would like to put a question at the meeting, please let David have it in advance so that he can pass it on to Christian Aid.
