Junior Church

The children and young people of Trinity are a valued part of the church family.  On most Sundays they are present at the start of morning worship before moving into their departments but join the church family later in the service to celebrate Communion once a month - further details

The Junior Church spent their time on Sunday 11 March 2012 keeping fit using Wiis and an exercise bike. Putting together all the time they spent on the machines they hoped to reach 7 hours which is the length of the flight to Accra in Nigeria. Trinity Church has a link with   Wesley Cathedral in Accra and the Junior Church children were raising funds through sponsorship so that they could send what they had raised to the Junior Church in Accra for books, pencils and other equipment. Well over £500 was raised.

Bunker Youth Club

Bunker is the Sunday night youth group for CUCS which meets at Trinity. We do all sorts of exciting things from going to Blackpool, hanging 35ft out of trees, to eating ice cream, to playing silly games. We'll consider doing pretty much anything! We also have a serious side with sessions dedicated to focusing on topical issues and we have also led worship.

Scouts and Guides

Trinity Church, Sutton is the sponsoring authority of Trinity Scout & Guide Group, with a current child membership of about 280 drawn from a wide social and ethnic background including members of many Christian denominations as well as other faiths - further details

Child Protection Policy of Churches Uniting in Central Sutton

We believe that all people have the right to be safe from harm. As Christians, we are charged to love and care for all people but in particular the most vulnerable members of the Church community. Children have particular needs that can be met by the Church if its members respond to the call to be Christ’s people, living in His way.

We believe that all children deserve the opportunity to achieve their potential and to be protected from abuse and exploitation by anybody.

We recognise the importance of Child Protection, the serious issue of child abuse and accept our responsibility for caring for children physically and mentally, as well as spiritually, whilst they are in our care, or on our premises under the care of others.

Should anyone have concerns about the welfare of a child please speak to one of the following:

            Martin Camroux - Minister
Fiona Jones – Junior Church Superintendent
Margaret Camroux – Child protection officer for Trinity
